We sell two separate options. The eSIM is data only: no Vietnamese phone number, no calls and no SMS. We email a QR code; you scan it before you fly, and it starts when your phone joins a Vietnamese network. The physical SIM is also data only, with unlimited data and no phone number, calls or SMS. Someone hands it to you at the airport or brings it to your hotel and can insert it. Hand-over is included. There is no delivery fee.

- Physical SIM: unlimited data, data only, no phone number, no calls and no SMS. The same price as the unlimited eSIM.
- Physical hand-over included at Noi Bai (HAN) or Tan Son Nhat (SGN), open 24/7 after immigration, or at a hotel front desk in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang or Nha Trang. No queue at arrivals and no Vietnamese cash needed.
- Staff can insert the physical SIM and check that data works. The card can move to another phone or a hotspot. An installed eSIM stays on that device.
- No passport registration. These are prepaid tourist lines, so bank and app verification codes do not arrive. Vietnam only.

Good to know
- Every plan we list is data only. None of them includes a Vietnamese phone number, calls or SMS.
- An eSIM needs a phone that can install one: iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, Galaxy S20 or newer, and most flagship Android phones since 2020. The phone should be unlocked.

Do I need to verify or register the SIM myself?
No. There is no passport registration. An eSIM arrives as a QR code by email: scan it, and it is data only once your phone joins a Vietnamese network. A physical SIM is handed over ready to use, and staff can insert it. Neither plan has a phone number, calls or SMS, and bank or app verification codes do not arrive.
Is the data really unlimited?
The Vinaphone unlimited eSIM and the physical SIM have no daily cap and are not throttled. Every plan is data only, with no phone number, calls or SMS. Your phone should be unlocked.
